Eastern White Cedar is the absolute top choice for fine hot tub builders as it has the same absorbtion properties and decay resistance as its sisters, red cedar and redwood, but lacks the high tannin content of those woods, which imparts a blackened color to water placed in all red tubs,which is harmless but unpleasant. Water in a White Cedar Tub is crystal clear and inviting.Just look closely at ANY photo on the web of water in a competitor’s red tub, and it will be too dark to see through .Now look at the photo on our first page,the one with water in the tub-you can easily see the floor!
